ABOUT US

After years of rising antisemitism in the UK many of those fighting against this rising tide of hate became concerned about how often UK Universities were involved as the location for antisemitic incidents.

Inspired by the question "would it be possible to map the locations of antisemitic events and those responsible for them at UK universities in order to demonstrate where the problems are?" a group of volunteers came together to research, investigate, and produce this tool. Over the coming months the team will continue to work together to keep this updated.

The aims of this group are to:

1 – Expose and highlight antisemitism at UK Universities.

2 – Collate information so that students can form educated decisions about where to study.

3 – Apply pressure on universities to make their sites and courses safe spaces for Jewish students.

Our volunteer team includes Jewish and non-Jewish members whose sole aim is to shine a light on what is happening at UK universities. This site is not political. We have already mapped people from across the political spectrum and will continue to do so regardless of their party political affiliation.

Our volunteers are anonymous for their own and their families’ safety. Sadly it is well known among those who expose and fight antisemitism that a range of tactics is used to silence people. These are directed both at them and their families and include: online abuse; harassment; doxing; and threats of physical violence, some of which have been carried out. Many of those fighting antisemitism have had to report abuse directed at them to the police. Not only does this distract from the work but it causes huge amounts of stress and worry for family and friends. For these reasons our volunteers’ identities will remain protected.

This website and accompanying map has been created and published as our team believe it to be in the public interest.
